Wagner Farms

Today a family tradition came full circle. Jeremy and I took the boys to Wagner Farms in Corrales. Growing up, this was a yearly trip for my family. When we were younger, we would pick pumpkins and apples and watch cider being made. As the years passed and we grew older, the trip became more about a lazy nap in the car and awakening to eat roasted corn, homemade tortillas and green chile stew. Although the activities of the trip changed over the years, one thing remained the same. The time together. No matter how good the food or how beautiful the drive, the best part was just being together and enjoying our afternoon.
Here are a few pictures from our afternoon at the farm. Happy boy, Benji

Thank you for carrying on the tradition in your family Sarah and Jeremy. It warms my heart that you felt it was important enough in your childhood to want to carry it through for your own. Wish I could have been there to experience it with you.

Now we just need to get a Ford Astro to carry us all in. :) Know what is scary Court? You could have a baby by then too...put that in your pipe and smoke it!
