Baby Grace Update

Once again, thank you for all the prayers. It's almost midnight and Kelly and I just returned from the NICU. I had been in Angel Fire for the last two days and Friday morning at 3am I received a call from the NICU saying Grace had been put on the high frequency ventilator and her stomach wasn't looking good. They held her feeds and continue to do so probably until Saturday sometime. About 6 x rays later she has been looking better on each one. We then received another call around 5am saying she needed a blood transfusion ASAP. All of these things were not good and around 10am Kelly called me sayiing she was at 100% oxygen and was still having issues. She was essentially close to as bad as it could be for her. Kelly was told it was basically up to Grace at that point. After hearing her state, I left for Albuquerque and got to Grace about 1:30PM. She had two new IVs put in, she was on morphine and another drug to relax her. Thankfully her ventilator settings were able to come down. We stayed there for most part until now. She has improved dramatically and continues to grow. We love our Grace. She's up over 2 lbs now and cuter than ever. Love you all, Chris, Kelly, Sasha, Grace
