A Bit of Randomness

Has anyone else had such a crazy day that you don't have a chance to eat?

Yes?

Okay, now one step further.

Has anyone else had such a crazy day that you don't have a chance to eat so you grab a loaf of fresh baked french bread at the grocery check out line and then consume 2/3 of it before you even hit your door step? Anyone? Anyone?

-------------------------------------------------

Also in food land, we had this for dinner tonight...I called it Unicorn Horns.

Really it's called Romanesque Broccoli and it was almost like cauliflower, broccoli, and an artichoke heart had a baby. Pretty tasty.

As for The Deuce, they opted for broccoli florets with extra sharp cheddar and some black beans. Abe really seemed to enjoy it although most of it ended up in his bib.

We'll forgive him though. He's kinda sweet.

I am beginning to worry about you guys. Are you sure you aren't eating mutations that are grown on a test site somewhere? Where do they come up with these things?

How far from Trinity was that grown?

If you can get the boys to eat this stuff at this age, you are doing fantastic!!!

LOL,
Grammy

I sure miss Los Poblanos. I wish they could come to Farmington :(
Grammy's right though (your mom??), it does look like some sort of a mutation...

Looks tasty! What can you make with it?

Caitlin-We just steamed it and ate it with a little butter. Very good!

Tania-Sooooo glad to hear I'm not the only one. That stuff is so good! Especially when the clear plastic is all steamed up from being so warm :)

Crystal-Glad you liked it! I meant to tell you to check the website and make sure you're storing all the produce correctly otherwise it can go bad. It doesn't store the same as regular produce. We learned that the hard way.

Mom-You're funny. Just wait till you get a bouquet of it for your birthday. :)

I'm with Amanda. I just don't know if I could get that stuff past my eyes! I also agree with your mom--if you can get the boys to eat that stuff--you're doing fabulous!
