Sledding and Words to Live By

We're back from a very quick New Year's trip up North to Chama to see my dad and Vicky. It was an extremely fun but extremely cooooold weekend trip. Let's just say the -18 degree weather gave me a new appreciation for Albuquerque's fairly mild winters. In all fairness though, it did warm up some. All the way to seven {SEVEN!} degrees which, apparently, in Chama is warm enough to take your small children out in and push them down a very snowy hill on a giant piece of plastic. Yipeee!

In other news, today my very concerned firstborn was on the potty wearing nary a piece of clothing except for a pair of cowboy boots and the apple in his hand {I know, gross.} when he looked at me with the most serious of faces and tried to impart some of his little boy wisdom.

His words?

"Momma! Don't touch the poop, okay?"

Outta the mouths of babes, right?

The pure joy of childhood. :D Thank you for sharing you and your children's lives with us that are far away and miss you!!!!

Well if it was only seven degrees outside.......you could actually touch the poop without fear!
